Microneedling

How it works: we create micro-injuries in the skin using a vibrating pen that has 36 hair-thin needles. This helps to stimulate collagen and elastin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and shrink enlarged pores or acne scars.

We recommended 4-6 sessions about a month apart for correction of acne scars or other texture issues or a session every 3-4 months for preventative anti-aging.

How it works: an injectable that increases your body’s own collagen production, with results appearing over the course of a few months.

New to Sculptra?

Before

• Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 48 hours prior to treatment (alcohol can thin blood and increase bruising).

• If possible, avoid elective anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications and supplements for two weeks before treatment.

• If in advance of a special event or occasion, please be sure to schedule your Filler or Botox treatments at least two weeks prior to the event date.

• Please hydrate thoroughly in advance of your appointment. Healthy skin yields the best results!

During

• Please come makeup-free if possible! If not, we will ask you to remove your makeup upon arrival.

• We will apply ice and a topical numbing cream during the treatment to ensure you’re comfortable.

• Temporary bruising and swelling is normal.

After

• Avoid makeup the rest of that day.

• Unless instructed otherwise by your provider, do not massage or manipulate the treated area for at least 4 hours following treatment.
